Last year, the country achieved solid progress in energy conservation and emission reductions. Resource consumption, environmental pollution and ecological cost all declined, while the quality and ecological benefit of economic development improved significantly.
China has long been promoting clean fuels and is committed to increasing investment in renewable energy. It currently boasts the most installed water, solar and wind capacity of any country in the world.
