China's Caixin manufacturing PMI rises in June
BEIJING — A private survey showed Monday China's manufacturing activities accelerated in June, adding to evidence that the world's second-largest economy continued to improve despite headwinds at home and abroad.
The Caixin China General Manufacturing Managers' Index (PMI) climbed from 49.6 in May to 50.4, the highest level in three months, according to the survey conducted by financial information service provider Markit and sponsored by Caixin Media Co Ltd.
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below 50 represents contraction.
