No 5 Didi Kuaidi ($16 billion)
In joint fifth place is Didi Kuaidi, known as the Uber of China, which was formed by a merger in early 2015 of rivals Didi Dache and Kuaidi Dache. The company raised $3 billion in September, months after raising $1.5 billion, taking its valuation to around $16.5 billion.
