Alibaba's sampling inspection procedures revealed

Alibaba has worked with authoritative domestic quality control institutions to check goods sold on its platform, since 2011. In the past five years, a "mysterious sampling inspection" system has played an increasingly important role in quality control.

"We have more than 80 employees specializing in the 'mysterious sampling inspection', distributed on our different business platforms including Tmall.com, Taobao.com and 1688.com," the source said.
