DUSHANBE - Tajik Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda and Chinese Deputy Agriculture Minister Niu Dun met here on Wednesday to discuss cooperation in agriculture between Tajikistan and China.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in farming, cattle breeding, gardening with new technologies, according to the secretariat of the Tajik prime minister.

They also discussed effective bilateral cooperation on creating conditions for processing of agricultural products, rational use of land, establishment of stores for agricultural products.
The Tajik prime minister said his country is interested in the implementation of large projects in the agrarian sector with Chinese investment, according to the secretariat.
Also on Wednesday, Tajik Agriculture Minister Qosimi Rahbar said at the second session of the Tajik-Chinese Agriculture Cooperation Commission that Tajikistan and China have cooperated in the agrarian sector for years and this cooperation is developing.
Niu expressed the hope that the Tajik government will create favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises, adding that the Chinese side will enhance investment cooperation with Tajikistan and create favorable conditions for future development of bilateral cooperation.
