Technical issues cause system error: Citic Securities

A system error of Citic Securities has been repaired and trading returned to normal on Wednesday morning, 21 Century Business Herald reported.

Some investors complained they could not log on to the Citic Securities website at 9:50 am Wednesday, and some were unable to place orders. 21 Century Business Herald quoted a senior executive as saying the problem was caused by technical issues, and had been resolved by 10:30 am.

No major turbulence was reported because of the morning's system error.

Citic Securities is the largest brokerage in China by market value.
