"Our overall strategy is to change the way we think," said Eberlein. "We put in much more than ever before and the customer's expectation is at the center of everything we do."

The division is launching an application for mobile devices that will enable customers to book services online.

"We'll be the first automotive dealer group in China that offers this service," said Eberlein.

He said creativity is not the only way to survive and to meet the increasingly intensified market competition in China the largest Porsche dealer has to be prepared to stay alert.

"It's not about pricing," he said. "The customer does consider the price, but also considers the service they will receive."

Eberlein said because his team has been in China for several years they have strong relationships with customers.

"When you are with somebody for more than 10 years, it is a strong bond. It proves we have done something right," he said. "This is why I'm not afraid of any competition. I'm looking forward to it."
