Large Medium SmallSales of light vehicles including cars and light commercial vehicles will total 34.6 million units in 2020, doubling the figure in the US, according to a recent projection by Finbarr O'Neil, global president of consulting company JD Power.
He said China's light vehicle sales are expected to reach 19 million units by the end of the year. Emerging markets led by Asia will continue to drive global sales, he noted.
