Ford China announced on May 8 that it sold 75,331 units this April, up 37 percent year-on-year. In first four months the year, the company posted sales totaling 261,927 units, up 49 percent year-on-year.
Its performance has been largely stimulated by the US automaker's aggressive plan to introduce 15 new and upgraded models to China by 2015 and achieve annual sales of 1.2 million units by that time.
