BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd has appointed Peter van Binsbergen as senior vice-president of sales and marketing. Binsbergen will assume the role on April 1, according to sources.
Binsbergen has been working in BMW AG for 19 years. He has held various senior management positions, including director of marketing and vice-president of sales channel development in the South African, Japanese and German markets.
BMW Brilliance President and CEO Olaf Kastner said, "I have confidence that Peter van Binsbergen will make a contribution to the performance of BMW Brilliance in the Chinese market because he has abundant global market experience."
The incumbent senior vice-president of sales and marketing Daniel Kirchert will officially leave office on March 31.
