Alibaba demonstrated its VR shopping technology for the first time during this year's Singles' Day Shopping Spree to let users with low-price VR headsets browse goods in virtual shopping malls and even watch virtual models show off items.

And as the system is connected to Alipay, shoppers can pay for things by simply nodding without taking off the goggles.
