Railway attendant spends her fifth Spring Festival on train

Although many may find it hard to imagine not celebrating the traditional New Year with family for five straight years, such cases do happen with railway attendants.

Family reunion is for passengers, in Zhang Yutong's eyes. The D928's chief conductor who works on Beijing-Guangzhou line will spend her fifth Spring Festival on the train.

Born in a family of railway employees, Zhang said to work on a train was her dream since childhood.

"I feel sorry for my family, but it's a job we chose," said the 23-year-old.
