A nation brand is one of the most important assets of any state, encouraging inward investment, adding value to exports and attracting tourists, said Brand Finance, an independent brand valuation and strategy consultancy.
Based on the consultancy's latest report, the United Stated remains the world’s most valuable nation brand, followed by China.
Because China's economy has slipped into lower gear and its stock market is in turbulence, the country's brand value fell 1 percent from a year ago, according to the report.
