"I could not keep running every day because I sometimes felt lonely. I thought Wang might be fun, so I pay for him to run with me," Wen said.
Wang charges 10 yuan ($1.6) upward per hour for running, depending on how long customers want him to accompany them.
Before running, Wang takes Wen through a set of stretches, to prevent cramps.
