The 2014 Fujian-Taiwan Food Fair kicked off on Friday in Quanzhou, South China's Fujian province.
Sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Quanzhou city government, the three-day event is being held in Jinjiang, a county-level city of Quanzhou.
The 33,000-square-meter trade show hosts 630 exhibition booths and has attracted 370 food enterprises from the province and Taiwan.
Exhibits include raw food material, snacks, beverage, and food packaging products.
A forum on chocolate-making, a highlight of this year’s event, will invite top-notch chocolate makers on both sides of the Straits to show the delicate technique of creating fancy chocolate molds.
