Being the youngest and the only male worker in front of a machine, Fu wears a cheap pair of headphones.
"I'm not listening to music, I just don't like the noise the machine makes," Fu said.
Working eight hours a day, six days a week, the haunting noise of the machine stays in his head even after work. "I listen to music and watch movies so I can forget about the annoying sound in my head," Fu said. "I like Sylvester Stallone's movies, they are awesome."
Leaving home in Hainan province with his older sister, Fu came to Shenzhen a few months ago and is chasing a dream about which he is not yet sure.
"I guess I want to be a boss in the future," Fu smiled shyly. "Any kind of boss."
