Chinese stocks open higher - Apr 9

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,215.47 points, up 0.18 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.13 percent to open at 8,965.62.
