Beijing enterprise recruitment tipped to remain high
Recruitment by Beijing enterprises is expected to maintain a high growth rate in the first half of 2013, with 480,000 new posts created, authorities said.
The manufacturing, residential services and maintenance sectors will see the creation of the highest number of new posts, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security said on Sunday.
The bureau said it is the first time it has released a survey of market demand, designed to provide detailed guidance for employers and employees.
"The number of positions provided will be more than the city's labor supply," said Song Ye, deputy director of the Beijing Employment Service Center.
Song said expected growth in enterprise jobs for the first half of 2013 is 7.5 percent, a 2.5 percent drop compared with the second half of 2012.
The bureau said the minimum average monthly wage promised by enterprises is 2,174 yuan ($350), an 8 percent rise on last year.
