BEIJING - Dongfeng Honda has announced it will recall 2,000 CR-V multi-purpose passenger vehicles in China starting Saturday, China's consumer quality watchdog said Friday.
The recall is due to poor welding on the vehicles' triangle arms, which may cause potential safety risks, a statement on the website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.
The vehicles involved were produced between August 28 and October 12, 2006.
The company said it will offer free checks and repairs for the recalled cars.
