"From 10:00 Moscow time (0600 GMT), a delivery cut to 60 percent is introduced," Russian media quoted Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller as telling a commission for the gas row.

He also said the transit of Russian gas across Belarus is continuing uninterruptedly and in full.

"Consumers of Russian gas are not experiencing any problems with its supplies," he said.

Gazprom on Tuesday reduced gas supplies to Belarus by 30 percent of the planned volume, over a debt of $200 million for gas Belarus consumed.
