China lifts ban on pork imports from US, Canada, Mexico

China had lifted import bans on pork products from the United States, Canada and Mexico, the country's top quarantine authorities said Tuesday.

In April and May, China imposed bans on pigs and pork imports from Mexico, Canada's Alberta province and some regions of the United States, as an emergency response to the A/H1N1 flu.
