COFCO's Frank Ning awarded Asia Business Leader

Frank Ning, chairman of COFCO, was awarded the Asia Business Leader of 2009 on Thursday by CNBC Asia Pacific, a media company headquartered in Singapore.
Frank Ning gained the top award mainly for leading COFCO, an import and export group for grain, oils and foodstuffs in China, through multiple phases of growth, helping it evolve in the whole agro-business chain of growing, storage, processing, trading and branding.
The Asia Talent Management of the Year was awarded to Tan Pheng Hock of ST Engineering, for his personal involvement in supporting and nurturing leadership within the company.
Both the Corporate Social Responsibility Award and the Asia's Viewers Choice Award went to Shiv Nadar of HCL Technologies, for his ability to translate the company's success into benefits for the community.
