Construction began last May on the Chaobai River Bridge, a 1118.6 meter span connecting Yanjiao, Hebei and Beijing’s Tongzhou district, and a core component of the integrated and coordinated development of Beijing and its two neighboring provincial areas --- Hebei and Tianjin.

As of the end of August, the bridge substructure, 68 percent of the project, had been finished. The project will be completed by July of 2017.
