On May 18, the 19th China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC), which aims to promote the commercialization, market-oriented operations and internationalization of the technology industry, kicked off in Beijing. Over the past decade, CHITEC has grown into one of the key highly specialized international technology & trade events at which China can showcase its state-of-the-art technologies, spread cutting-edge ideas, release industrial policies, and promote international economic & technical cooperation through exhibitions, forums and biztalks.
The expo this year has brought together the World Health Organization and UNESCO, delegations from 34 countries and regions, over 30 of China’s provinces and cities and more than 1500 high-tech enterprises, research institutions and industrial parks.
