China Post will release a series of special stamps themed "New Year Greetings" on Jan 10, 2015. The stamps have been designed by Wu Guanying, who is a professor of fine arts at Tsinghua University. It has one piece in one set, and the nominal value is 1.2 yuan. The stamps have two cartoon images as its main elements, and the clothes and accessories on the images are modern. The whole picture gives a warm atmosphere of Chinese lunar New Year with a contrast and fusion of modern and vintage.
