Vive la France is to the point

Sylvie Bermann, French ambassador to China, spoke on April 3, at a Beijing press conference for the Croisements Festival, one of the flagship events marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. Itself celebrating a ninth consecutive edition this year, the Croisements Festival has evolved into the biggest French cultural gala in the world and the largest foreign cultural carnival held in China. From April 11 to July 10, the Croisements Festival will host 100 events in more than 40 Chinese cities and invite close to 1,000 artists to entertain more than a million people.[Photo by Song Jingli/chinadaily.com.cn]
