China’s Glory of Yuanmingyuan (Old Imperial Summer Palace) exhibition celebrated its opening at the China Culture Center in Moscow, Russia, on Aug 31, attracting more than 200 local visitors and journalists from China and Russia to the cultural exchange event.
The exhibition is a great opportunity to explore the tourism and culture resources of the imperial palace, giving visitors a taste of Chinese culture and a better understanding of Chinese civilization and China’s peaceful development, said Chinese Ambassador to Russia Li Hui at the ceremony.
Mikhail Titarenko, chairman of the Russia-China Friendship Association, and a group of guests from the association visited all the halls accompanied by Ambassador Li Hui after the opening ceremony.
