Premier Li sets out to attend ASEAN meetings, visit Laos

Premier Li Keqiang leaves Beijing heading for Vientiane, capital of Laos, for a four day trip to the neighboring country on Tuesday afternoon.

Laos assumes the chairmanship of Association of Southeast Asian Nations this year and hosts all ASEAN and East Asia meetings along with other high-level meetings.

In the next four days, Premier Li is scheduled to attend the 19th ASEAN-China Leaders' Meeting, the 19th ASEAN-China, Japan and South Korea Leaders' Meeting, as well as the 11th East Asia Summit.
