Strengthening cooperation under both sides' development mechanisms
By integrating China's Belt and Road Initiative with development strategies raised by EU countries, China and EU could be mutually beneficial.
Last March, President Xi called for more connection between China and European countries' development plans during his talk with German counterpart Joachim Gauck in Beijing.
China and EU can deepen practical cooperation within the Belt and Road Initiative, as it will link the Asia-Pacific and European economic circles and help tap into the enormous potential of the Asian and European markets, according to Xi.
The two sides will also enhance capacity cooperation and China-CEEC (Central and Eastern European countries) collaboration.
