Hurricane lashes southeast Texas with heavy rain, wind

Category 4 Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Rockport, Texas shortly after 11 pm on Friday with wind gusts of up to 135 miles per hour. It gradually weakened to a tropical storm, retreating southwesterly, where it sits along the coast in southeast Texas.
At least five people have died in flooding in Houston.
Twenty inches of rain were dumped in some areas by Sunday morning. Another 15 to 20 inches of rain are expected in the next couple of days.
