BERLIN - Police have blocked a residential area in Chemnitz in eastern Germany on Saturday morning for a suspected explosive attack, local media reported.
A house in the area has been evacuated. "There is a suspected planned explosive attack," said a police spokesperson from Dresden, capital city of the German state of Saxony.
"Now we have a dangerous situation in Fritz-Heckert area in Chemnitz and police officers are deployed at the scene," local police authorities said in an update on its twitter account.
