Lightning strikes world's tallest skyscraper

The spire of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is struck by lightning. The bolt of lightning hit the 828 meter high structure in Dubai in November, creating a purple glow across the sky. Its spire was constructed using more than 4,000 tons of structural steel and is designed to attract lightning away from the main structure and channel it safely to the ground. [Photo/CFP]
