BEIJING - An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted Italy at 3:00 pm Tuesday (Beijing Time), the China Earthquake Networks Center said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was located at 44.8 north latitude and 11.0 east longitude, the earthquake monitor said.
