NEW DELHI - At least 15 people were killed while two others seriously injured in a rail mishap in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh Tuesday morning, said police.
The mishap happened when the Mathura-Kasganj Express train rammed into a jeep at an unmanned railway crossing near Madu station at 07:19 am. The jeep was carrying 17 passengers.
While 15 people were killed on the spot, two of the injured have been transferred to a hospital where they are battling for their lives.
