3 US soldiers killed in roadside bombings in Afghanistan

KABUL: Two roadside bombings in eastern and southern Afghanistan have left three US soldiers dead on Friday, said a statement of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) on Saturday.

"Two US service members were killed in an improvised explosive device attack in eastern Afghanistan, October 16, and one US service member was killed in an IED attack in southern Afghanistan on the same day," the statement said.

It has been proved a deadliest year for both foreign soldiers and innocent civilians in the war-plagued country as conflicts and violence have claimed over 414  international troops, including 247 from America, and 1,500 civilians so far this year.
