35 confirmed A/H1N1 cases at SW China college

Thirty-five people have been confirmed cases of the A/H1N1 influenza at the Sichuan Southwest College of Civil Aviation in Chengdu, the city's health bureau said.

All the confirmed patients have been hospitalized in Chengdu Infectious Disease Hospital, and none are showing severe symptoms at present. Classes at the college have been suspended by the health department, and medical experts have been stationed there to give tests and treatment.

A total of 1,075 students and 126 faculty members at the college were tested for the disease.
