H1N1 flu deaths rise to 337 in Argentina

BUENOS AIRES: Argentine Health Ministry Wednesday reported the A(H1N1) influenza death toll in the country rose to 337.

Vice Health Minister Maximo Diosque told local media that they were testing other 400 deaths to determine whether these victims had died of A(H1N1) flu.

He said Argentina had registered a total of 762,711 flu cases, of which 93 percent were A(H1N1) flu.

Argentina is the second worst-hit country in the world, just behind the United States, which reported 353 deaths from A(H1N1) flu on Tuesday night.
