At least 25 people were killed and 90 others injured when unidentified gunmen attacked a police training school in eastern Pakistan on Monday. The exchange of fire between police and gunmen began at the police training center in Manawan area of Lahore.

The attackers reportedly took some policemen hostage and went to the second and third floor of a building inside the school. TV footage showed the policemen crawling on the ground to avoid bullets near the training school, and some policemen were on high alert hiding behind the walls of the school.

Police said at least 10 attackers were in police training facility, wearing jihadi outfits and “foreign elements” could be involved in the "well-planned and organized attack". Around 400 police trainees were inside the training school.
