BAGHDAD - A suicide car bomber rammed into a fuel truck Thursday in central Baghdad, killing at least nine people, police said.

Some 21 others were wounded by the blast, which happened around 1:15 p.m. in the mostly Shiite Muslim Karradah district, police said. The death toll was expected to rise, they said.
