Red Bull Music Academy presents Lost Cargo featuring Yosi Horikawa & Daisuke Tanabe. Chiba-based sound designer Horikawa is a man of miniatures: table tennis balls, kalimbas, shakers and insects all collide in his electronic concoctions, and it's the small details that make his music so unique. As a formally trained sound designer and soundtrack artist, he shows a deft hand at combining field-recorded sounds into something musical, often resembling a shadowy version of hip hop.
