Immigrants honored - New York
Feng Zhang, a genomics pioneer and professor of neuroscience at MIT's Broad Institute, was named winner of this year's annual Great Immigrants tribute on June 29 by Carnegie Corporation of New York. The foundation pays tribute to the invaluable role that immigrants play in helping to advance society, culture and the economy. Several of this year's 38 honorees are from Asia .
