Dozens injured in New York carbon monoxide leak
At least 32 people were injured after a carbon monoxide (CO) leak in Lower Manhattan between West Broadway and Murray Street on Tuesday, with one critically injured, according to NBC News.
It has been confirmed that the fire was caused by a broken flue pipe that leaked exhaust fumes into the basement of a restaurant.
The New York City Fire Department reported all injuries as "minor", adding that the carbon monoxide levels in the building are dropping.
