Toronto lawyer Ping T. Tan introduces a new book about him entitled Pursuing Justice: Ping Tan, Chinese Canadian Leader at a book launch event organized by Chinese Book City on Aug 26 in Toronto. The book, published by the Chinese Overseas Publishing House, tells the story of how the Chinese-Canadian community fought for redress from the Canadian government over the Head Tax.
