Michiel Hulshof (left) and Daan Roggeveen (right), curators of the exhibition Facing East: Chinese Urbanism in Africa who traveled to six African cities for their research, talk about China's infl uence in Africa at the exhibition opening ceremony on Tuesday at Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York. The exhibition is made up of personal stories of individuals involved in the urbanization process and investigates the impact of Chinese development on fast-growing African cities.
