Premier Li meets ECLAC executive secretary in Santiago

Premier Li Keqiang met with Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) Alicia in Barcena Santiago, Chile, on May 25.
Barcena said she was impressed by Premier Li’s speech at the Davos Forum at the beginning of the year and invited him to give a speech to the commission.
She said Li’s visit is a milestone for China-Latin America relationship; and presented the Premier some Chinese documents her commission translated.
