China to offer aid to flood-hit Chile

BEIJING -- China will provide 500,000 US dollars in cash to flood-hit Chile, the Ministry of Commerce said on Saturday.

Floods in north Chile, caused by rare rainstorms in late March, have caused casualties, telecommunication interruption and power and water supply cuts.
