Meeting about Brazil's tax system held in Sao Paulo

"Chinese companies need to carefully evaluate the risks and their own competitiveness when facing tax preference policies," said Rodrigo Dalla Pria, vice-president of the Taxes and Duties Tribunal and judge of the Board of Tax Appeals, at a meeting about Brazil's tax system held by LIDE China on Sept18 in Sao Paulo.
Pria called on Chinese companies to be more cautious and avoid risks when dealing with tax-refund policies in Brazil.The country's complicated tax system has been one of the major challenges for Chinese companies exploring the local market. "We recommend these Chinese enterprises hire professional agencies to map out a mature plan for better development," said Monica Fang, president of LIDE China.
