A performance of Thousand-Hands Guan Yin dance is staged at the 6th Annnual Wesak Vegetarian Banquet Gala on May 6 in Richmond Hill. In Buddhist art, the thousand hands with a thousand eyes on them allow the Guan Yin-bodhisattva to see the sufferings of sentient beings, and to reach out to help them.
