TEHRAN - Iran has prepared an "accurate proposal" for upcoming nuclear talks with the world powers in Geneva, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said here on Wednesday.
"We hope a full agreement to be reached over this proposal, or the outlines could be agreed upon," Rouhani was quoted as saying by semi-official ISNA news agency.
Rouhani said Iran can negotiate over the types of uranium enrichment and will "leave the doors of its nuclear sites open for the inspections of the UN nuclear watchdog."
He did not expand on Iran's nuclear "proposal" but said "the Iranians need to be sure that the principle of (uranium) enrichment inside Iran and (taking advantage) of nuclear technology is unnegotiable."
Positive signs in New York high-level talks on September 26 between Iran and the P5+1 -- Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germany -- raise hopes for progress in stalled negotiations over Iran's nuclear issue. A new round of talks is set for October 15-16 in Geneva.
