HOUSTON - A teenager fatally shot five people, including three children, inside a home in the US state of New Mexico, US media reported Sunday.
The 15-year-old boy was arrested on murder and other charges in connection with the shootings Saturday night inside a home in the New Mexico city of Albuquerque, according to FOX news.
The victims' identities haven't been released, and the boy's motive and connection to the five victims weren't immediately known, Bernalillo County sheriff's spokesman Aaron Williamson was quoted as saying.
"We are trying to identify the victims," Williamson said, adding that investigators were trying to determine if the victims were related.
Each victim reportedly suffered more than one gunshot wound.
Investigators were also seeking to determine who owned several guns that were found at the home, one of which was a semi-automatic military-style rifle, according to the report.
